Module description:

This training module provides an introduction to the NSW workers compensation guidelines for the evaluation of permanent impairment 4th edition (Guidelines) and how they are to be used when assessing impairment injury or disease in New South Wales.

About the Facilitator: Professor Ian Cameron

Professor Ian Cameron is a Rehabilitation Physician who holds clinical and academic appointments at the University of Sydney.

He has had more than 15 years’ involvement with permanent impairment evaluation with reference to the NSW Workers Compensation scheme and the motor vehicle accident Third Party Insurance Scheme.

With colleagues, Professor Cameron has provided educational programs about permanent impairment evaluation in NSW, South Australia, Tasmania, Queensland and for Comcare.

In his clinical work he sees patients with neurological and musculoskeletal impairments.

Program details:

After registration and payment, you will be able to access the course material, pre-training questionnaire and module assessment. The pre-training questionnaire must be completed and submitted at least 48 hours before the face to face session. After the face to face session is completed, you will be given access to the competency based assessment. You will have to complete and return the assessment within 10 working days from the face to face session.
